How’re you doing dear Sisters and Brothers ?
Here I am, a beginner farmer, ready to respect and to heal our Earth.
Earth is a Beauty, and that’s why I want to live with her.
First, I must admit that the farm where I work is organic, not yet bio-dynamic, but I know one day, Katia & Brendan will make it !
Organic is not a fashion or a marketing idea, it ‘s a completely different manner of living and working with the soil, the water, the animals and the plants.
There is no hormone, no antibiotics, no oil chemicals, no medicine from chemistry’s industry, no herbicide, no fungicide, no oil chemical fertilizer.
In the farm I work, who is a human-size farm, we grow 100% grass fed cows and milk and grass-fed calves, pastured chicken eating organic grain and oyster shell for the calcium’ source.
They sell the raw milk from the cows, not pasteurized, because pasteurization destroys organism that may be harmful to human health. Not Tested for Antibiotics. There are so many customers for the milk and the meat!
We grow many different kind of vegetables like garlic, lettuce, choi, arugula, strawberries, tomatoes, onions, carrots, peas, dill, basil, parsley, sweet corn, summer squash, melon, asparagus, flowers!, cabbages,
The idea is, that we are what we are eating.
Do you want to eat some meat or eggs from who never see the sunlight, eat low-quality food most of the time with gmo and animals flours.
If you want to see a good movie about animals :
is a powerful and informative documentary about society’s treatment of animals, narrated by Joaquin Phoenix with soundtrack by Moby.
This multi-award winning film by Nation Earth is a must-see for anyone who cares about animals or wishes to make the world a better place.
To end these introductory words, I’d like to say that every purchases you make you are voting for some party, to my mind, I don’t want to know what the state can do for me but what can I do for the earth with my soul, body and spirit.
Here two pictures of the cows eating grass, every two or three days they are moving to another grass field, because when they eat low grass they loose weight.
